Indiana “Indy” Prati

Indiana “Indy” Prati started with VPC in 2023. He comes from an Emergency Management and Meteorology background.
Indy graduated from Purdue University in 2020 with a B.S. in Applied Meteorology and Climatology. Since that time, he has worked for Hamilton County Emergency Management where he developed and maintained a multitude of plans and worked as a responder dealing with several natural and manmade hazards. He also worked with BAMWX in Greenwood, Indiana where he developed weather packets for a variety of clients.
Indy has functioned as the Planning Section Chief and the Accreditation Manager for the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP). He is a certified storm spotter and holds many FEMA ICS courses including All-Hazards Position Specific Planning Section Chief (L962), ICS 300, and ICS 400. As a contractor, Indy has created and updated county Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plans (MHMPs) as well as, facilitation and evaluation of LEPC and hospital projects.
